In memory of Dede Allen, who was one of the founding board of advisor members when LAFS opened, the main theater hosted a screening series of films she edited. The screenings included: Bonnie and Clyde, Dog Day Afternoon, The Breakfast Club and The Addams Family.

“For three straight months, these events have been a great success,” said LAFS Industry Specialist Celina Reising, who helped coordinate the expo. “They keep getting better and better as the vendors learn what the students want to see. I feel that this could evolve into something much bigger for both the students and vendors.”
