LAFS Hosts Paranoia Film Festival

The Los Angeles Film School campus served as host site of the 2010 Paranoia Film Festival on Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.

Over 15 selected independent films in Horror, Science Fiction, Thriller/Suspense and Cult/Bizarre screened during the event. Festivities concluded with an awards show.

The festival, which had previously been hosted at the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, Calif., was held in Hollywood for the first time.

“Our partnership with the Los Angeles Film School is a natural fit,” said Paranoia Film Festival co-founder James LaVitola. “We are excited about more opportunities on their campus which features some truly amazing technology.”

Awards were given out to best short and feature films.
