LAFS Launches Hybrid Learning

The Los Angeles Film School is proud to announce that it now offers hybrid learning programs. Hybrid programs combine online and on-site courses to deliver a creative, student-friendly learning experience.

In addition to current on-site courses, students can now take general education courses online for Associate of Science degree programs in Film, Game Production, Computer Animation and Recording Arts.

“The addition of online courses will enhance the student learning experience,” said Vice President of Online Education Rita Sawyer. “Hybrid learning affords students opportunities for more frequent interaction with peers and instructors that may not be possible in a traditional classroom environment.”

Some benefits of hybrid learning include an online platform with easy-to-use tools, access to courses at any time of the day without having to sit in a classroom and increased opportunities to communicate with instructors and other students.
