CAREER DEVELOPMENT
What is Career Development?
Career development is a lifelong process, and it begins on your very first day at The Los Angeles Film School. The keys to unlocking and managing a successful career in the entertainment industry are research, networking, preparation, and staying current with industry trends. The Career Development Department pro-actively teaches these interpersonal and professional skills to students throughout their education – supporting their vocational goals, and helping to bridge the gap between academia and the workplace.
The Career Development Department is staffed by entertainment industry professionals who are dedicated to opening doors for the successful graduate. Our advisors help students and alumni navigate through the entertainment industry, and work to prepare them for contact with potential employers and familiarize them with the realities of the business. Our goal is to ensure that students and alumni have the skills they need to secure employment, build a career, and sustain it successfully. We are here to help you define your future.
